I run RIP Insurance as a personal brand for my life insurance work serving Ottawa and Ontario. I place policies with established Canadian insurers and explain them in detail before you sign.

I focus on funeral funding but also write term, whole life, and children's coverage.

Before issue, I explain the insurer, coverage, exclusions, and premium. There is no cost or obligation.

Originally from Cambridge, Ontario, I moved to Ottawa a few years ago to be with my wife. We now have a young son, and that is what first got me thinking seriously about what we leave behind for the people we love. I live here too, so the people I help are also my neighbours.

I spent many years working in the trades as a welder. Straight answers, honest work, done right the first time. I got into insurance because it let me apply that same mindset in a better way to help the community: protecting families from being handed a bill at the worst moment of their lives.

Away from work you'll find me deep in the backcountry on a portage trip, winter camping, in the gym, or building software (this website is my own work).
